events, markets & pop stores

This year we're taking easy the Christmas time. We stay at home, chilling out, having good food and watching  movies. December was busy for psychocandy. Every weekend of this month we worked hard enjoying vintage events in Barcelona. We're happy as a kid in a candy store 'cos people loved our staff!!! We sold the mayority of our winter collection already!  We love pop up stores! It had places in amazing venues like old train station, art galleries or cool bars. It was always accompanied with nice dj's playing and delicious coctails...and snacks. We had a personal time with our clients and it was huge fun. We didn't expected that it's gonna be such a success! Now we're having a few days off to start january with fresh energy! Soon we'll share details of comming events and ridiculous SALES! Stay tuned!!!!!

Este año estamos teniendo unas navidades tranquis por casa comiendo bien, viendo algunas pelis y tal. Diciembre ha sido duro, prácticamente cada fin de semana ha habido algún evento vintage en el que hemos participado, ¡y en el que hemos flipado! A mucha gente le ha encantado nuestro material y prácticamente nos hemos quedado sin ropa de invierno. Por eso nos merecemos unos días de relax para comenzar el año con fuerza. En general todos han sido en sitios muy chulos... desde estación de trenes antigua a galerías de arte o barcitos chulos. Hemos tenido clientes entrañables y todo ha sido muy divertido gracias a los picoteos, bebidas y djs que pululuban estos lugares... Pronto volveremos a la carga en enero.. ¡Incluído rebajas en un sitio muy particular!

Those unexpected surprising things are the best things. Yesterday on our way for an art show we founded such an awesome old school street auction with amazing antiques. Just in the middle of our neighbourhood on one of those tinny streets. Please don’t tell me that Gracia is not the best ! ;) 

Then we went for the collective art show that was all about monkeys, it was good and funny. It is called Monkey´s Barbery.  We had a nice time with some pals, talking and having beers. If you are in Barcelona I really recommend to check from time to time the activities of this collective.

Estas inesperadas cosas que pasen son de las que más me gustan. Ayer yendo a una exposición de arte nos hemos encontrado por el camino una subasta de antigüedades. En una de estas estrechitas calles de gracia, en medio del barrio… ¡por favor no me digan que vivir en Gracia no es lo mejor del mundo!

Después hemos disfrutado de una muy buena exposición de arte colectiva. Se llama La Barbería del Mono, es muy divertida e interesante. Hemos tenido una tarde agradable de buena conversación y cervecita. Si sois de Barcelona os recomiendo echar un vistazo a las actividades que irá realizando esta asociación (o lo que sea).

Lost and Found Second Hand Market

Hola! Last Sunday we enjoyed such a great event, Lost and Found Second Hand Market at Barcelona city beach. 

We had a lot of fun selling our vintage goodies on a beautiful day, listening music just at front of the sea. We made some new friends and we met our old good ones. For those who are from Barcelona or nearby and still don’t know this event next time you must come and see. It happens every few months, we will inform you here on the blog. You can get really nice soooooo cheap stuff and  have an unforgettable time ;)   

Hola! El domingo pasado estuvimos en  el Lost and Found en Barceloneta.  Hemos disfrutado lo que no está escrito vendiendo nuestras prendas vintage acompañados de buen tiempo, y música justo frente del mar. 

Para los que todavía no lo conocen y viven en Barcelona o en los alrededores tenéis que venir adisfrutarlo. Se organiza cada más o menos tres meses,  pero de todas formas os informaremos en el blog cuando suceda. Se pueden encontrar unas piezas estupendas a precios muy económicos, además de pasar un día de estos que se recuerda por mucho tiempo ;)
